Which strategies do you see?
Mrs.Chen decided to help their students to change their behaviour inside the classroom (messy classroom). So, they began a science project that consisted on building a plane model. They used the following strategies:
-Visualization: use of visuals.
-Resourcing: Looking up information.
-Prior knowledge: remembering previous knowledge.
-Double check: gathering and compering opinions and data about planes.
-Moving pair to pair: share information in groups.
-Associate pictures and folds.
-Jump reads: reading the last paragraphs to know how the story comes out.
Are they effective?
From my point of view, the strategies are pretty effective because they all worked and change the students' behaviour inside this classroom. The "plane thing" didn't go on, and the class learned to be tidy and clean due to the plane project.
